It’s very nice to be back, and we’re really happy with our new game plan. With a little luck and support, we can deliver a very affordable base game and a full box of custom science fiction miniatures! It’s going to be awesome!

Let’s start with today’s news:  

Today is Thursday, which means it’s time for our weekly Kerberos Plays Twitchstream! In honor of our Kickstarter, we’ll be playing The Pit Board Game all month with various guest stars, most of whom have never played the game before.  

Tonight’s special guest is the multi-talented Toren Atkinson, singer/songwriter of The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets. He is also a fantastic actor, and performed several character voices for the original Sword of the Stars: The Pit. 

Kerberos fans will recognize him as the iconic voice behind many of their favorite characters in our other games as well, and his music from our trailers. Tune in and check out the stream if you’d like to see the game in action! 6:00 pm PST.  

In other news…

The Pit Board Game is on the move! The team has been taking the prototype on the road for the past two months, first to Terminal City Tabletop Convention in Vancouver and then to Gamestorm20 in Portland.

Our next stop will be GameX (Strategicon) in Los Angeles on Memorial Day Weekend, May 25-29th. If you’re living in Southern California or planning to visit, come on down and see us! We have two great games to demo and some cool prizes. 

Speaking of great games and cool prizes, we want to give a shout-out to our fellow devs at Bravely Told Games. They are also running a Kickstarter this month, launched on May 8th, to fund the Expansion for their unique and hilarious card game Cult Following. 

We love playing Cult Following on our office Twitchstream, and we’ll have the Bravely Told Team as special guests on our Twitchcast next week to try out the new cards in their expansion and teach them to play The Pit (mua-ha-ha-ha!).
